This is my character Aiko in her formal wear! Shes been a character of mine for a while now and I was planning on making an outfit sheet for her! This ended up being my favorite outfit of the bunch so I thought I’d share it here (lets be honest its probably my favorite because of the sparkles)!
Drawing outfits is one of my favorite parts of character design! There are so many things you can do through simple costume pieces and so many stories you can tell through them! When I first started taking drawing seriously one of my biggest inspirations and motivations was seeing drawings of actual people wearing amazing clothes! I wanted to be like those artists one day and that’s where I’m headed!
For those of you who may be inspired by my art and wish to draw or design characters one day- One important thing I’ve learned is that drawing… is hard! No matter how much you practice, it will always be a learning experience! It will take time, but don’t let that get you down! If you put in the work you can one day create absolutely amazing things (and you already have by just trying)! I’m proud of you!
